Where Have I Been? November 12, 2009

Boy, I haven’t been here in a bit!! I’m a week and a half behind in blog reading!!! It’s going to take all weekend to catch up, but I’m determined to get it done! Grins!

I really can’t think of a good reason I haven’t been here...well, there have been a couple. Like last week we lost internet (and home phone) for a couple of days. And I’ve been doing a lot of computer reading at work, so by the time I come home, my eyes are killing me. Sitting in front of another computer screen for even an hour isn’t happening. Sighs, turning 40 has finally caught up with me. (Yes, even though I’m 41. At 40 the eyesight starts to go; everyone’s eyesight. Something about the muscles being so stretched out from use. Of course in the years leading up to my 40^th birthday I was already seeing the signs of glasses in my near future. I’m just avoiding it as long as possible....those things are expensive!!)

Life at home as been pretty good...except for a two week sex hiatus Master and I were forced to go on! We had some fronts move through the area at the same time He worked on His daughter’s car, which lead to a few days of Him barely able to get out of bed. Add a healthy dose of “Surely this is hormones and not me losing my mind” ups and downs and sex was truly the furthest thing from our minds.

Unfortunately in the midst of the “Surely this is hormones and not me losing my mind,” I discover the women in my family tend to go through The Change early...my Granny starter hers heavy in her early 40’s. Sighs, oh fuck, my age now. Still though, we all have to go through it at some point. I don’t guess one age is any better than another. Shrugs, maybe I’ll be lucky and have a smooth Change....Roflmao!! Yeah, like that’s gonna happen with someone who is already a highly emotional person! Poor Master...the next 10 years should be fun, or at least interesting!

Master ended our hiatus last night about 12:30. He crawled into bed (I had been asleep since 10:00) and ordered me to take off my panties. There followed a very nice mix of vanilla and not vanilla sex. Due to the time, it was all about Master. There is just something about sex that focuses only on His pleasure. It’s just freaking Hot! Don’t get me wrong though, tomorrow is my half day and I have great plans for a session. I’m due for a maintenance spanking (also two weeks in arrears) and I have beads in my jar, though I’ve no clue how many. I presume I’ll find out tomorrow. I can’t wait!!

My son has been sick off and on all week with a cold. It’s so weird cuz he usually doesn’t get sick...not enough to stay home from school. But he’s been home two days out of five this week. We wonder if his digestive problems haven’t lowered his immunity, causing his simple cold to knock his legs out from under him. He’d be able to go to school anyway if it wasn’t for the fact that he’s dizzy as all get out. I just hope he can keep his grades up. This is his first year with Dual Credit classes so we don’t know how well he’ll do with them yet. I wish December 9 would hurry up! Hopefully the gastroenterologist will have positive things to say.

Okay, that about catches it all up. It’s just regular life going on here. And with the holidays coming up, I’m sure we will all experience some time away from our pages. I’ll be back to write when I can. In the meantime, though I may be late, I am keeping up with all of you. Have a great weekend!
